In the second quarter of 2024, Brazil's music and podcasts app landscape witnessed varying performance trends across top applications on the unified platform. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Deezer: Music Player, Podcast experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, starting at $85K in the first week of April and peaking at nearly $93K in early May, before settling to about $87K by the end of June. Downloads for Deezer saw a mid-quarter spike, jumping from 43K to over 70K in early June, while weekly active users dipped from 3.3M to just over 3.1M by the end of the quarter.

YouTube Music also displayed a mixed revenue trend, starting at approximately $69K and achieving a high of $83K in early June. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 82K to 89K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users saw a slight increase, climbing from 30.5M to 32.5M.

Weekly active users showed an overall increase from 590K to 597K mid-quarter before slightly dropping to 595K.

Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts presented a steady revenue trend with a slight increase from $33K to $36K over the quarter. Downloads experienced a peak of 55K by the end of June, while weekly active users saw a peak of 237K in the same period, compared to a low of 204K in late May.
